Amy Kirkfield

Amy is a lifelong advocate for education and believes that every young person has the potential to thrive. A product of East Coast prep schools, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Colby College and Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. Early in her career, Amy worked in marketing research at Reebok, alumni/ae development at St. Mark’s School, and educational television in Los Angeles before heading to graduate school to focus on high school counseling.

After a stint as a guidance counselor at an urban high school outside Boston where Amy built trust through small group sessions, she found her way to Colorado where she started working with Dr. Antonoff. Over the years, she has worked as a proofreader and editor. She has also seen the grass on the other side of the college counseling fence as an Admissions Reader for the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Amy supports and supplements the important work done at Antonoff Associates. As a stickler for detail, she is perfectly positioned to ensure accuracy in research and data analysis. She also assists with writing and publishing, developing training programs and materials, and contributing ideas for new initiatives. She has known Dr. Antonoff for more than twenty years, first working for him from 2000 to 2004, and returning to the AAI fold in 2023. Her twins just started college, so there are always relevant conversations to have and valuable perspectives to gain.
